Lobenberg: Vom Brûlées gibt es zwei Expositionen, dieser ist von der Südexposition. Das gibt ihm die Wärme, Dichte und Reichhaltigkeit. Lehm direkt auf Kalksteinfelsen. Dieser Brûlées liegt direkt unterhalb des Beaumont der Domaine Leroy, er hat also die reiche Südsonne und die Dichte und Wärme der Exposition zusammen mit der Eleganz des Kalksteins. Sehr dunkle Farbe, helle Ränder. Im Bouquet ist der Brûlées dieses Jahr sehr fruchtbetont, man hat kaum Holzeinfluss, dafür viel dunkle und kühle Frucht, Brombeere, Blaubeere, Lakritz, dann Nelke. Am Gaumen merkt man die kräftige Tanninstruktur, das ist deutlich dichter und zupackender als die beiden Villages, ja fast schon fleischig ob des zupackenden Tannins. Der braucht Zeit, bleibt aromatisch auf der dunklen Seite. Sehr würzig. Lang, fein, delikat, finessenreich. Sehr charmant. 94-95/100

-- Parker: Tasted blind, the 2015 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées also put in a superb performance, unfurling in the glass with an attractive bouquet of ripe red berries, incense and candied peel, framed by a touch of light reduction that segues into sapid bass notes of smoked duck. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, lavish and multidimensional, with supple tannins, a dramatic core of fruit and succulent underlying acids. This is a very promising Brûlées from Domaine d'Eugénie. 94+/100

-- Galloni: (60% new oak): Healthy dark red. A musky touch of reduction to the aromas of black raspberry, smoke and minerals. Densely packed, chewy and concentrated, conveying an impression of depth to its flavors of dark berries, spices and saline minerality. But very reduced and hard to judge today, displaying limited sweetness in the early going. The tannins are dusty and broad. This wine has tightened up in Domaine d'Eugenie's cold cellar, but it's still clearly a large-scaled premier cru. - Stephen Tanzer 91-93/100
