Vinho Tinto
-- Parker: The 2015 Tinto is a blend of 40% Touriga Nacional, 25% Touriga Franca, 15% Tinta Roriz and 10% each of Castelão and Alicante Bouschet, aged for 18 months in used French oak. It comes in at 13.5% alcohol. This was bottled just a week before tasting. It seemed pretty special for the price. Complex, with high-personality grapes like Castelão and Alicante Bouschet contributing greatly, this has fine concentration for the level. It also has good structure with ripe tannins. This is a little disjointed, though, so let's leave this with a scoring range just now even though it is not technically a barrel sample. No matter where it ends up, it seems like a fine bargain. 89-91/100
