Lobenberg: Organic farming. Handlese, 4 Wochen Kaltmazeration, 20% Ganztraubenpresse, Spontanvergärung, nur zu 20% neue Holzfässer von 3000 Litern, ohne Filtration gefüllt . Das ganze Programm der heutigen guten Biowinzer. Sehr feine Sauerkirsch-Minze Nase, etwas erdig und fleischig dahinter, geröstetes Fleisch, Holunder, drücken konzentrierte schwarze Beeren, alles aber in Summe sehr burgundisch fein bleibend. Der Mund verblüffend zart und fein, zwar dunkle Beeren aber auch feminin blumige Noten mit feiner Würze, tänzelnd, ein kleiner Hauch Bitterkeit über roter Grapefruit und zartem Cassis mit Milchschokolade. Oh wie schön! 94+/100

-- Galloni: The 2016 Syrah is 100% whole-bunch fruit, and I think this gives it the edge over the 2015. It has a very fresh, focused nose with more edginess than the previous vintage, offering touches of peppermint and dried herbs. The palate is very well balanced with fine tannin - quite a 'cool customer,' presenting a longer, more precise finish than the 2015. Excellent. 92/100
