Quinta do Mouro
-- Parker: The 2015 Tinto, the estate tinto with just Quinta do Mouro on the label in Bordeaux style, is a blend of 38% Alicante Bouschet, 34% Aragonez, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and the rest Touriga Nacional aged for 14 months in 50% new French and Portuguese barrels. It comes in at 13.7% alcohol. I wasn't so happy with the 2014, but in a far better vintage, this is right back to form. Deep, concentrated and powerful, although the tannins are not too astringent, this puts it all together for the 'regular' Estate Tinto. It should age very well. I asked Miguel Louro if 20 years sounded right. He scoffed and said, 'much more.' His scoffing is frequently right, but let's start here. 92/100
