Lobenberg: Sehr puristischer Stil. Irgendwie wie eine Symbiose aus der Babaresco Rabaja von Bruno Rocca aus dem Piemont und dem Vina El Pison von Artadi (Rioja). Zedernholz und Eukalyptus in der Nase. Am Gaumen feine, reife, sandige Tannine, tolle Kontur, dezente, frische Säure. Kernig. Satte, leicht bittere Blaubeere und Holunder. Viel Kraft und Frucht, aber ohne fett zu sein, überhaupt kein moderner Stil. Ein Wein für Fans von Kontur und Klarheit. Der Wein polarisiert Fans und totale Ablehner, großer Stoff für Kenner. 95+/100

Primarily Aragonez and Alicante Bouschet, with some Touriga Nacional and Cabernet Sauvignon, it is piercing and pointed, precise and focused, with a concentrated mid-palate yet the acidity to allow the wine to seem lively, not dense or ponderous. This should age beautifully and develop considerable complexity. This has not yet begun to show everything that it has, but it has enormous potential. Drink 2013-2027. 94/100

Then much more dense on the palate. Much more structured. More masculine and corseted than the 2006. Very fresh. Needs food and air. Still has elegant and fine tannins. One for the long term. Refined but has all the flesh it needs. 17,5+/20
