Lobenberg: Ab dem Jahrgang 2021 ist der Rosso di Montepulciano Bio-zertifiziert. 80% Sangiovese im Blend mit 20% Merlot. Der Großteil davon wurde im Zementtank ausgebaut und ein kleiner Teil in großen, neutralen Botti. An der Nase eine Kombi aus saftigen Kirschen aller Art und erdiger Würze. Im Mund sind die Tannine rund, poliert und samtig, zugleich hat der Wein eine präzise, erfrischend lebendige Säure. Herz- und Sauerkirsche, Bitterschokolade, ein Hauch Vanille und Zigarrenkiste gehen in eine kalkige, leicht salzige Mineralität über. Der Einstieg in Polizianos beeindruckende Montepulciano-Welt könnte nicht besser sein. Ein erfrischender. zugleich runder und super trinkiger Wein für jeden Tag. 91/100
