Lobenberg: 100 Prozent Listrão, das ist der Name der selben Rebsorte auf Porto Santo (einer Nachbarinsel Madeiras), die in Jerez Palomino Fino und auf Teneriffa Listan Blanco heißt. Die über 80 Jahre alten Reben stehen auf kargen, kalkhaltigen Sandböden, mit etwas Lehm. Zehn Monatiger Ausbau in gebrauchten, neutralen, französischen Barriques.Die Nähe zum Meer ist hier klar riechbar, die Nase ist mineralisch und salzig. Zart rauchige, leicht reduktive Aromen werden nach einem Moment im Glas nussig und mischen sich mit Zitrusfrucht und gelbem Steinobst. Im Mund hat der Wein eine ultra feine, beinahe seidige Haptik, die mit dem salzigem Säurespiel auf der Zunge tänzelt. Spannend! Es gibt nur 2.800 Flaschen. Phänomenal gut, wo auch immer Antonio Macanita seine Finger im Spiel hat, kommt garantiert spannender Wein dabei raus.

-- Parker: The unfortified white 2023 Listrão dos Profetas Vinho do P. Santo has a bright golden color and a complex nose of dried herbs, spices and nuts. It's brighter and higher-pitched than the Caracol, with faint creaminess, a little more oxidative and a clear bitterness in the finish with a salty twist. The must from the direct pressing of the bunches fermented with indigenous yeasts in small stainless steel tanks and 228-liter barrels, and the wine matured in those containers with lees for 11 months. It has an intense and vibrant palate, medium ripeness and contained alcohol (12.1%) with very good acidity (pH 3.17 and 6.75 grams of acidity) and salty minerality. It finishes dry and with a long, tasty aftertaste. 1,500 bottles produced. It was bottled in August 2024.
