-- John Gilman: Like most of the 2016 premier crus in the Fèvre cellars, the Beauroy had been bottled a few weeks before my visit. The wine was showing very well, wafting from the glass in a blend of lemon, wet stone minerality, green apple, spring flowers and a gentle topnote of chalk dust. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied and zesty, with a lovely core, fine focus and grip and excellent backend energy and mineral drive on the long finish. This was one of the premier crus that was barely touched by the frost, so yields here were thirty-five hectoliters per hectare. 91/100
