Lobenberg: Das Prachtstück von Patrick Piuze, ein wahrer Aristrokrat aus der Lage 'Preuses'. Uralte Reben veredeln den Chardonnay. Nüsse, zartes Holz, geschmeidig wie Honig am Gaumen. Anis, Kräuter, Weihrauch, Karamell und Zitronengras. Wuchtig und doch verspielt, immens lang, er hallt über zwei Minuten nach. Blind in seiner Komplexität ein Grand Cru von Dauvissat, einer der großen Weine des Chablis und ein Langstreckenläufer mit wundervoller Finesse und beeindruckender Größe. 98-99/100

-- Katalog: -- JG: Normally, one tastes the Les Preuses last in the Piuze cellars, but this year, the place of honor was reserved for the Les Clos. This is not to say that the Preuses is not absolutely stellar in 2012, but it has been nosed out by the Les Clos in this vintage. The bouquet on the 2012 Preuses is a very complex and compelling mix of lemon, pear, pink grapefruit, kaleidoscopic, chalky minerality, beeswax, orange zest, smoke and a hint of oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full- bodied, pure and very complex, with a rock solid core, crisp acids, stunning focus and grip and a very, very long, racy and nascently complex finish. Another monument to the 2012 vintage. 97/100
