Lobenberg: Mit dem 'Le Clos' zeigt Patrick Piuze eindrucksvoll sein Können bei seinen Grand Crus. Geerntet von 50 Jahre alten Reben präsentiert er eine goldene Farbe im Glas. Aromen von wunderbarer Frucht, mineralisches Steinmehl, feine Kräuter und florale Verführung zugleich. Am Gaumen straffe Struktur, immense Spannung, mineraliasche Reinheit wie ein großer Meursault und burgundisches Fett wie ein Puligny. Der Wein braucht sicher ein paar Jahre der Flaschenreife, bis er richtig Spaß macht. 97-98+/100

The superb nose jumps from the glass in a classic mélange of apple, tart orange, chalky and flinty soil tones of great complexity, apple blossoms, paraffin and citrus zest. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and rock solid at the core, with a very soil-driven personality, crisp acids and stunning focus and grip on the long, complete and utterly refined finish. A great wine in the making. 2018-2040. 95+/100

-- Internet: -- Parker: There is plenty to admire in the 2011 Chablis Clos. The wine literally comes alive in the glass with gorgeous nuance and detail. It boasts striking precision in a large-scaled style for this site. Layers of expressive white stone fruits bury the minerality in a seamless expression of Clos with no hard edges and fabulous overall balance. Piuze used a pneumatic press here, and it seems to have yielded beautiful, elegant juice. Anticipated maturity: 2013+.91-93+/100 --BH: A pretty and solidly well-layered nose offers up notes of citrus peel, pear and a variety of floral nuances along with the usual wet stone hints of a fine Les Clos. There is an obvious muscularity to the big-bodied and solidly concentrated flavors that possess plenty of acid-buffering dry extract on the sappy and citrus-infused finish that delivers firstrate punch and persistence. This is not a huge wine, at least not by the typical standards of Les Clos, but there is still ample size and weight. (91-94)/2016+
