Lobenberg: Leichte Reduktionsnote, etwas Kreidestaub, Mirabelle und Birne. Am Gaumen Granny Smith, Limettenabrieb und etwas Quitte. Das ist nichts für Puristen, sondern ein generöser Grand Cru, der auch zeigt, was solch eine Lage vom 1er Cru unterscheidet. Lang und gerade, kräftig und tief. Das ist fein strukturiert. Der Reife steht Fleisch und Säure entgegen. Ein Chablis, wie er wohl sehr gut reifen wird und unglaublich viel Potenzial hat. 97/100

Picked early in 2018, this is fresher and more refined than it can be in warmer vintages, showing beeswax and citrus perfume, refined oak and lingering freshness. 96/100

Rich lemon-peel notes create contour and add mouthwatering brightness to this concentrated, understated wine that comes with subdued but distinct power. Drink 2025–2045. 95/100

-- Galloni: The 2018 Chablis Bougros Grand Cru is far more forthcoming than the Valmur, presenting gorgeous orange, peach, tinned apricot and light pineapple scents that are very seductive. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, taut and fresh. This immediately puts the Valmur in its place with a penetrating, saline finish that leaves you wanting another sip. Superb. 94/100
