Lobenberg: Dieser eigene Wein ist reinsortig Cabernet Franc, biodynamisch erzeugt in der Maremma. Zwar aus den etwas jüngeren Reben und doch tiefdunkel. Würzig erdige Schwarzkirsch-Brombeer-Cassis-Nase mit reifen Röstaromen und Rauch. Lakritze und Blumen dazu. Druck und satte dunkle Frucht im Mund, viel salzig steinige Mineralität, Minze, erinnert an Feuerstein, etwas Teer, viel krautwürziges Unterholz, wieder Blumigkeit, hat Rasse. Ein puristisch würziges Powerteil von der Loire würde ich blind denken. Ci FRA steht natürlich für Cabernet Franc, aber das groß geschriebene FRA hätte auch für die Anlehnung ans Nachbarland stehen können. Auf jeden Fall toller Stoff! Unikatscharakter. 93-94/100

-- Parker: Bottled in July 2019, the 2018 Cabernet Franc CiFRA is an easy take on this Bordeaux grape that saw only cement. Without the wood, this is a tighter and spicier expression with lots of tension, freshness and energy. It's more vertical than horizontal and less impactful in the mouth. This is an entry-level Cabernet Franc to pair with a steak salad sprinkled with Gorgonzola. 91/100
