Cote Rotie Lieu-Dit Fongeant
-- Jeb Dunnuck: Always a pretty, perfumed, complex wine, the 2019 Côte Rôtie Fongeant sees a touch of stems and is brought up mostly in used barrels. Wonderful red and black fruits (even some blue fruits) as well as violets, spice, and flowery incense define the bouquet, and it's medium to full-bodied on the palate, with fine tannins. One of the more focused, tight, backward wines, it needs to be forgotten for a solid 4-5 years, at which point it should evolve gracefully for 15-20 years. 94/100
