Lobenberg: Einer der berühmtesten Rotweine der Toskana. Seit 1978 produziert Castello di Ama diesen kultigen Wein in den besten Jahrgängen. 2010, 2012, 2014 und 2017 wurde er zuletzt nicht gemacht. Zusammen mit dem L'Apparita ist die Lage Bellavista das Flaggschiff des Weinguts. Die Trauben stammen aus den ältesten Weinbergen, es werden zwischen 4.500 und 6.000 Flaschen gemacht. Leuchtendes Rubinrot im Glas. Bellavista ist der Inbegriff des seduktiv duftenden Castello di Ama Stils. Dichte Sauerkirsche mit wilden Kräutern. Thymian, Minze und gefallenes Herbstlaub. Die Würze vom Holzausbau ist wunderbar verwoben mit Muskatnuss, weißem Pfeffer, einem Hauch Zimt und Vanille. Nach und nach nimmt die monumentale, zart rauchige Mineralik die Hauptrolle ein. Im Mund hat der Bellavista feinkörnige, runde Tannine, die dem Wein seine feine Textur verleihen. Knackige Sauerkirsche und Frische schieben sich mit Druck über die Zunge. Bitterschokolade und würzige Kräuter sind fein verwoben mit der saftigen Frucht. Bereits in diesem Jugendstadium macht er schon grandios viel Freude. Production was skipped in 2017, 2014, 2012 and 2010. This stunning wine reveals beautiful concentration with just the right amount of fruit weight, which feels rich but not heavy. The wine also appears compact and firm, with outstanding depth that is teased across aromas of wild berry fruit, crushed mineral, rose, tobacco and minty herb. The wine's complexity unfolds carefully with time in the glass. 98/100
