Parker über:
White (ehemals Lybra)
-- Parker: The 2018 Branco (a.k.a. the former Lybra Branco), tasted about nine weeks after bottling, is a blend of 50% Viognier, 20% Arinto and 30% Marsanne, unoaked, very dry and coming in at 13.5% alcohol. This runs around nine euros in Portugal, which makes it a bargain there and in the USA. It is solid in the mid-palate—this comes from the winery's vines on flatter areas rather than the hillside, leading to a riper profile, the winery says. It adds structure, reasonable length on the finish and a tasty conclusion. This is a reliable bargain these days that can age a bit, and perhaps better than anticipated—not that you probably want to do so. It will be at its best when fresh. 89/100
