Lobenberg: Clos Du Bourg ist etwas steiniger mit Tuffstein und auch meist der kräftigste Wein bei Huet. Die Aromatik ist anders als beim filigranen Le Haut-Lieu etwas erdiger und dunkler. 1ère Trie ist die erste Auslese der reifen Tauben im Weinberg. Hier hat man schon eine extrem komplexe, würzige Aromatik. Die Nase offenbart Kardamom, orientalische Gewürze, etwas Baklava, Steinobst und Honig. Am Gaumen zieht sich die Aromatik fort. Die feine Säure gibt dem Wein Spiel. Ein exotischer Süßwein mit würzigen Einstreuungen. Alte Weine beweisen heute eindrucksvoll, dass solche Abfüllungen über eine ganze Generationen exzellent reifen können. 95/100

-- Parker: Huet's bright golden colored 2016 Vouvray Clos du Bourg Moelleux Première Trie is clear, fresh and intensely fruity on the remarkably precise nose. Medium-bodied yet concentrated, elegant and sweet on the palate, this is a salty, piquant, mineral Chenin Blanc with intense, elegant and well-structured fruit. The wine reveals a chalky finesse and long tensioned finish. Bottled with 84 grams of residual sugar, this is still a pretty sweet but doubtlessly promising Vouvray. 94/100

-- Weingut: After an ideal growing season in 2015, 2016 did indeed bring its complications, but as there are no shadows without light, the small quantities produced are balanced with a very special quality. We classify the 2016 growing season with one word, exceptional :- exceptional, like the frost of 27 April 2016, that outlined the first traces of the vintage, reducing 50% of future bunches- exceptional, like the immense precipitation of spring- exceptional, like the period of drought that began in July and lasted through November- exceptional, like the magnificently luminous sky under which we harvested for three weeks, beginning October 6 Beautiful conditions prior to and during harvest allowed us to make multiple passes through the vineyards, thereby granting us the ability to produce our entire range of still wines from Sec to Cuvée Constance. Sparkling wine was not made in 2016.
