Lobenberg: Dunkle Farbe mit violetten Reflexen. Gute Konzentration in der Nase. Am Gaumen samtige Aromen von reifen, roten Früchten, feine Sauerkirsche mit roter Johannisbeere und Schlehe, alles unterlegt mit dezenten Blütenanklängen und einem ganz feinen Vanillehauch vom Ausbau im neuen und gebrauchten Holz. Ein extrem charmanter, schmeichelnder Wein, seidig und köstlich. Im Preis-Genuss-Verhältnis einer der Top-Weine unseres Sortiments. 90-91/100

-- Parker: --Parker: The 2012 Tinto, the Estate red, is a blend of 50% Touriga Nacional, 20% Tinta Roriz, 10% Touriga Franca, 10% Castelão and 10% Alicante Bouschet, aged for 18 months in used French oak. It comes in at 14% alcohol. This doesn't show a lot of concentration in this vintage, but it has fine structure, some intensity--both in power and flavor--and seductive texture. This is a perfect food wine and a good value (I am saying that last a lot lately with this bottling, an annual 'can't-go-wrong' bargain). It can be drunk now, but it should hold nicely for several years as well. It is pretty tasty and rather classy. 88/100
