Lobenberg: Ungemein reife und saftige Säure. Veilchen, Walderdbeere und salzige Lakritze in der Nase. Dazu süße gelbe Frucht. Im Mund Mineralien und weißer Pfeffer, als ob man Schiefer schmeckt, mit feinem steinigen Griff am Gaumen. Tolle Länge, die in der Creme de Cassis vorherrschend ist, dazu dunkle Erde, gebratenes Fleisch, auch Datteln und Dörrpflaumen. Dabei mit wundervollem Säurespiel, das sich an Lippen und Gaumen festsetzt. Dann drückt sich wieder die intensive Mineralität in den Vordergrund. Er ist durch seine Stilistik, die sich aus hoher Reife, tiefer Mineralität und faszinierendem Spiel zusammensetzt, absolut eigenständig und faszinierend. 95+/100

-- Parker: The sample of the 2017 Corullón showed a wider side of this village blend, where they have been focusing to get more precision through harvesting every plot the exact day it should be bottled. That's why they sold up to seven hectares of vineyards, the most challenging plots, those at higher altitude and with more challenging ripening conditions, enabling them to achieve an even more precise blend with the remaining grapes. I had a sample from one oak foudre that seemed to amplify the spicy side of the wine, with an herbal twist thrown in. The palate showed much better, with great balance and very fine tannins. This should be bottled around February 2019. 94-96/100

-- Galloni: Deep, brilliant violet. Powerful red and blue fruit aromas show sharp delineation and pick up suave floral and exotic spice nuances with aeration. Juicy and densely packed, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry and cherry flavors that show a hint of gaminess, underscored by a vein of smoky minerality. Shows solid, spicy thrust on the impressively long finish, which is given shape by smooth, polished tannins. 94/100
