Lobenberg: 'Geiler Stoff' ist ja eigentlich nicht mein Sprachgebrauch... aber hier muss es sein! Winzige Erträge aus alter Teroldego, gepflanzt auf Fluss-Schwemmland, eine sandige und warme Lage. Biodynamie im Weinberg und Keller. Acht Monate Maischegärung in der Ampore. Es ist der archetypischere Granato, mehr Goudron, mehr rauchig schwarze Pflaume und Kirsche, schwarze Erde und urwüchsige Kraft mit irre langem, etwas animalischen Nachhall und grandioser Mineralität. Ein Touch Zitronengras, ein wenig Assamtee, das Ganze hat auch durchaus Hintergründigkeit und Frische. Der Granato ist größer und feiner aber der Morei strotzt vor Persönlichkeit. So soll es sein, geiler Stoff eben. 95-96/100

-- Suckling: This has a complex nose of fresh violets, crushed redcurrants and blackcurrants with some black-pepper spice. Dried grapefruit peel, too. It’s medium-bodied and elegant with soft, silky tannins. Lots of fresh and bitter berries with dried herbs, flowers, stems and crushed gravel, too. Gorgeous depth of pure fruit at the end of the palate. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink or hold. 95/100

-- Galloni: The 2018 Teroldego Morei from Foradori is simply stunning. Aromas of fresh strawberries, violets, wild herbs, spiced orange peels and wet stone form up in the glass, creating a captivating display. It’s soft with an inner sweetness that perfectly contrasts its cascading minerality and juicy acids. There’s a tart twang of sour red berries and inner florals that lasts and lasts and lasts. What a beautiful wine. Having worked their vineyards biodynamically for years, the Foradori family decided to begin aging and bottling two parcels separately, both in Amphora. The Morei comes across as a bit prettier, lifted and saline than its counterpart, the Sgarzon. 92/100
