Heiner Lobenberg über:
Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode 2010

Lobenberg: Aus uralten Reben. 94+/100

Parker über: Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode

-- Parker: The 2010 Savigny-les-Beaune La Dominode is absolutely fabulous in this vintage. It boasts gorgeous fleshiness in its dark red fruit. Mint, freshly cut flowers and spices are some of the nuances that develop in the glass. The Dominode is ultimately about energy and textural brilliance, both of which it has in spades. I loved it. This parcel was first planted in 1902. Roughly 40% f the original vines remain. 91-93/100

BH über: Savigny les Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode

-- BH: from vines planted in 1902. A deft touch of wood spice frames very ripe dark berry fruit aromas that evidence plenty of pungent Savigny-style earth that continues onto the dense and seductively velvettextured medium-bodied flavors that brim with mouth coating dry extract that buffers the otherwise firm finish. This very firmly structured beauty is long, serious and beautifully well-balanced. One to buy. 91-93/100
