Rapariga da Quinta Reserva Vinho Alentejo
-- Parker: The 2016 Reserva Rapariga da Quinta is a blend of 52% Alicante Bouschet, 27% Aragonez and 21% Touriga Nacional, all aged for 12 months in 60% new French oak. It comes in at 14.5% alcohol. This was sourced from the estate Terra Calma, planted mostly with native grapes in the beginning of the '80s. Although Alentejo producers have some issues with the 2016 vintage, this still seemed very fine to me, not too far off the producer's other offerings this issue. There are some style differences, though, as compared to the producer's other two big reds—and some price differences. 90/100
