Pazo de Senorans Blanco Seleccion Anada Albarino
-- Parker: I love the nose of the 2011 Albariño Selección de Añada, which feels more serious and complex than some previous vintages, less exuberant, with herbal and stony notes reminiscent of an aged Sancerre (no kidding!), something flinty/diesel-like, nettle tea, boxwood and some of those gooseberry and cat pee aromas. This was kept in tank for almost eight years, but it's surprisingly fresh and lively, with no oxidation. The palate is silky and polished, with flavors reminiscent of the notes found in the nose, not really varietal but a different set of notes not often found in Albariño. Very unusual. 16,000 bottles produced. It was bottled in June 2019. 94/100
