The palate impression however is both fresh and energetic as the substantial middle weight flavors are underpinned by silky tannins and superb length on the wonderfully lengthy finish where a touch of wood surfaces. When you find a good example of Boudots it makes a very strong argument as to why it's among the very best of the Nuits 1ers. This is such an example. 91-93/100
