Lobenberg: Seit einigen Jahren hat die Biodynamie hier nochmal einen Qualitätsschub gegeben, Lageder stellt meist wieder die besten Weißweine der Region. Im Barrique vergoren und über 11 Monate auf der Hefe ausgebaut. Sehr dichte, cremige Nase, weißer Pfirsich und Birne, Vanille, weiße Mandel, sehr hell und fein. Am Gaumen ausgesprochen elegant, sehr harmonmisch, cremiges Mundgefühl, fast samtig aber auch mit guter Frische. Zitronengras, Quitte, Orangenschale, alles sehr geschliffen, strahlend fein. Viel Kraft und dennoch perfekt abgestimmte Harmonie. Eine eigene Dimension in Südtirol und ganz klar einer der allerbesten Chardonnays Italiens. 95/100

-- Suckling: Flamboyant white with the full, Burgundy work on it, showing ripe apples, pie crust, yogurt and toasted coconut. It’s full-bodied with a dense, layered palate and so much fruit. Oily and powerful. One of the best Löwengangs I have tasted. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. 96/100

-- Falstaff: Funkelndes, sattes Strohgelb. Sehr duftige und ansprechende Nase mit vielen fein herausgearbeiteten Duftnuancen, nach Mango, Grapefruit und frischer Ananas. Zeigt am Gaumen tolle Spannung, saftig und salzig, feine tropische Fruchtnoten lange und klar. 94/100

Löwengang's balance is spot on, and the wine achieves nice levels of freshness, richness and length. Production is 33,000 bottles strong. 93/100
