Lobenberg: Der kleine Smith Haut Lafitte ist eine typische Cuvée aus einem großem Teil Sauvignon Blanc und sehr geringem Anteil Sémillon. Ausbau zu 50% in neuem Holz, davor dezente Kaltmazeration. Das ergibt einen zitronengelb strahlenden Wein. Expressives Bouquet in Form von reifer Nektarine und Pfirsich, etwas Brennessel, traminerartige, fast blumige Noten und zarte Rauchigkeit, auch etwas nussig. Am Gaumen erfrischend, knackig und gut tailliert. Hinzu kommt die gewisse Cremigkeit des Weins nebst Grapefruit und Orangen. Über allem strahlt diese klare Quittennote. Eine echte Schönheit. 93-94+/100
