Lobenberg: Ein großer Klassiker bei Kracher und quasi die Interpretation von einer Beerenauslese im frischeren Sauternes-Stil. Der Welschriesling wird im Stahltank ausgebaut und der Chardonnay überwiegend im großen Holz, zu etwa 15% auch in Barriques. Die Nase strahlt schon so eine wunderbare Süße aus. Kandierte Mandarine, Weinbergpfirisch, Quitte, Apfelblüte und Creme Brulee. Daneben konfierte Zitrone, etwas Kaffee und Akazienhonig. Tolle Komplexität schon in diesem Preiseinstiegsbereich. Am Gaumen wieder reifer Pfirsich, reife Zitrusfrucht, Salzkaramell und ein Hauch von Walnuss. Sehr gut strukturiert, feinste Öligkeit, durch die kristalline Säure haben wir hier aber auch einen wunderbaren Trinkfluss. Die feinsalzige Mineralität und die hohe Konzentration ziehen diese Beerenauslese in eine erstaunliche Länge. Wirklich unheimlich viel Wein für das Geld.

Suckling über: Beerenauslese Cuvée

-- Suckling: I like the spicy complexity here with anise aromas alongside marmalade, caramelised apples, roasted figs and burnt toffee. Fantastic concentration, full-bodied and sweet, but you are left more with the almost savory spice and molasses character. Chardonnay and welschriesling. Drink or hold. 95/100

Parker über: Beerenauslese Cuvée

-- Parker: Blending 40% Chardonnay with 60% Welschriesling, the golden-yellow colored 2020 Beerenauslese Cuvée is intense and concentrated on the finely saline and fruit-intense nose that reveals perfectly ripe, stewed and candied lemon zest and orange aromas intermingled with ripe apricot and a kiss of toast and mocha due to the 15% used barriques during the vinification. Round and refined on the palate, this is a very intense yet fine, elegant, fruit-intense and balanced Beerenauslese with very delicate acidity. It has an uplifting, savory and saline finish and delivers lots of energy and tension but most of all finesse paired with intensity. This is surely one of the finest BAs I have ever tasted from Kracher in 20 years. 11% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in Lütjensee, Hamburg, in June 2023. 94+/100

Falstaff über: Beerenauslese Cuvée

-- Falstaff: Kräftiges Goldgelb, silberfarbene Reflexe. Zarte Botrytisnoten, feine Aromen von weißen Blüten, weißes Nugat, kandierte Mandarinenzesten, mit feiner gelber Tropenfrucht unterlegt. Mittlere Komplexität, zart nach weißem Apfel, frisch und salzig, wirkt schlank und lebendig, bereits gut antrinkbar.

Galloni über: Beerenauslese Cuvée

-- Galloni: The 2020 Beerenauslese Cuvée is a blend of Welschriesling and Chardonnay, with at least 80% botrytised grapes. The nose pulls off an unusual combination of citrus, caramel and roasted cashew, of praline with a floral overtone. This is where Kracher begins to show his real mettle. Passion fruit overtones appear on the mid-palate alongside the honeyed note of botrytis. Aromatic, fluid and concentrated but light enough to be gastronomically versatile with a beautifully sharp acidity that combines the topicality of passion fruit and the clarity of citrus. Bravo (Sweet) 94/100
