Lobenberg: Wesentlich exotischer als das straffe 'Lamm', im wahrsten Sinne schon in der Nase lecker, Mango, reifer Pfirsich, feines Steinsalz und ein leichter Kick Zitrusfrische. Maracuja und Mango, feines Süße-Säurespiel im Mund, geschmeidig und sehr charmant, ein Spaßmacher ohne zuviel Fett aber mit traumhafter Frucht. 94-95/100

-- Falstaff: Mittleres Gelbgrün. Einladende Nuancen von reifer Honigmelone, zart nach Mango, feine Kräuterwürze, ein Hauch von Biskuit, mineralisch unterlegt. Stoffig, elegant, integrierte Fruchtsüße, gelbe Tropenfruchtanklänge, finessenreich, sehr balanciert, zart nach Ananas im Abgang, sehr gute Länge, salzig-mineralisch, sicheres Reifepotenzial, wirkt sehr facettenreich und feingliedrig. 95/100

-- Wine Enthusiast: Yeasty savoriness on the nose conjures up salty hints of miso and soy, alluringly so. The palate is even more salty and expressive, with waves of tingling white pepper. The fruit that lurks through is of green Conference pear and more greenish savor: think nettle and lovage, even watercress. A lemony fillip provides a fresh backbone. What a joy to drink. Lovely now but built to last. Drink 2017–2025. 94/100

-- Parker: From a very deep and homogenous loess terroir, the 2015 Käferberg 1ÖTW Grüner Veltliner is a great, perfectly structured Grüner Veltliner and a spectacular 2015! The wine offers a very clear, ripe and elegant bouquet of noble Grüner Veltliner berries intermixed with calcareous and some smoky notes with refreshing herbal aromas like lemon grass and chervil. On the palate, this is a full-bodied, rich but pure, transparent and salty-mineral Käferberg that reveals remarkable finesse, great balance and a refreshingly dry, precise and salty finish. The aftertaste is very long, well structured and stimulatingly mineral and bitter. 93/100

-- Galloni: More differentiated and intriguing in aromas than other Bründlmayer Grüner Veltliner of its vintage, this leads pungently with lilac, grapefruit zest, struck flint, and quarry dust, all of which join tangy pineapple and luscious honeydew melon on a plush, glycerol- and extract-rich palate. Maritime and stony mineral nuances lend mouthwatering appeal as well as further intrigue to the outstandingly persistent finish. (Half of this wine was due for bottling soon after my June 2016 tasting; the other half was being returned to cask, part acacia and part oak, for an additional year.) - David Schildknecht 92-93/100
