Lobenberg: Ein Gemeinschaftsprojekt: Giovanni Mannetti und Winzer Lorenzo Pisana Socci aus Lamole haben diesen sehr feinen und eleganten Chianti auf die Flasche gebracht. Die besondere Lage dieser sehr kleinen terassenförmigen Parzelle bringt volles Aroma bei wunderschöner Balance. Chianti mit burgundisch samtiger Textur, Rauch und Tabaknoten bilden die Grundlage für das Aromenspiel mit Waldblumen und Wildkirschen. 93-94/100

-- Decanter: Fontodi's newest wine comes from his cousin's 7ha holdings in the cool zone of Lamole. The terraced vineyards sit at 600 metres above sea level on sandstone soil. Fermented in cement and aged in French oak casks, the 2015 is still backward on the nose, yet the palate reveals violets, lavender, forest blossoms and raspberry. Underneath it has a decidedly flinty edge with chalky, powdery tannins. This is captivating. 92/100
