Lobenberg: Von Hand gelesen. Fermentation innerhalb von 29 Tagen bei einer Temperatur von 10 bis 16 Grad. Ausbau zu 90% im Stahl, zu 10% im Barrique. In der Nase vor allem kräftige Apfelschale, aber auch feine Quitte und weiße Johannisbeere. Im Mund dann reife Frucht, dazu kommt elegantes Zitronengras. Tolle Säure kombiniert mit feiner Bitterkeit. Im Nachhall kommt dann ein wenig süßer Apfel zurück. Das erste Glas wird nicht das letzte sein. Erfrischend schöne und oft bessere Alternative zu vielen Norditalienern. 93/100

-- Parker: Parker: The 2015 Encruzado Reserva Quinta Da Falorca is mostly Encruzado with 10% Malvasia Fina blended in. It is unoaked, but for 10% of the wine kept in new French barriques for two months. I've never been quite as sold on Falorca as a Branco producer compared to a Tinto producer, but this is certainly singing some pretty songs. Tightly wound, concentrated and showing notable grip and power on the finish, this unevolved Encruzado could actually use another year just to settle down. That said, this seems to put it all together. For a fresh Encruzado, it is brimming with potential. It might even be entitled to an uptick. It should age well, perhaps better than anticipated. 92/100
