Lobenberg: Stoffiges aber auch geschliffenes Nasenbild. Bienenwachs und Mandarinensud. Im Antrunk voller Finesse, langsam aber immer mehr Druck aufbauend. Der kraftvollste Doriane, der mir bisher begegnet ist. Zu 100% in neuem Holz vergoren. Trotzdem wirkt er feiner als der einfache Condrieu, hallt aber unglaublich lange nach. Ein fast paradoxer Wein, aber gerade deshalb so unglaublich gut. 97/100

-- Parker: Slightly more fresh and focused than the 2012, the 2013 Condrieu la Doriane (aged 9 months in 100% new French oak) exhibits a vibrant bouquet of white flowers, white peach, tangerine and bitter citrus. This is followed by a medium to full-bodied, pure, elegant Condrieu that has terrific depth and richness to go with vibrant acidity, a focused texture and a great finish. It will be better next year and drink nicely through 2018. 96/100

-- WS: Offers a flattering, corpulent feel, with pear, creamed peach and papaya notes that glide along, lined with macadamia nut, bitter almond and green fig details. A flash of salted butter gives the showy finish good contrast. Very long, exhibiting gorgeous mouthfeel. 94/100

-- Galloni: (all new oak): Vivid yellow. High-pitched aromas of fresh citrus and orchard fruits, quinine, jasmine and chalky minerals, with a smoky quality emerging with aeration. Sappy and expansive on the palate, offering Meyer lemon and poached pear flavors plus a hint of anise. Alluringly sweet and broad on the finish, which clings with excellent tenacity and lingering notes of honeysuckle and chamomile. The blend of power and vivacity here is quite deft. -- Josh Raynolds 94/100
