Tinta Negra dos Villões
-- Weingut: The grape Tinta Negra is part of the ancient composition of grapes of this island, Madeira, still being today the base for the wines that make the Madeira Island famous. Rare, it is also found in small quantities in two other regions close to the ocean, it is known as Molar in Colares or Saborinho in the Azores. “Villões” is the nickname that the people of Porto Santo give to Madeirans, which comes from the name village (city) that has gained a double connotation.
