Und jetzt mit perfekter, erster Reife. 2001er Sauternes sind quasi unsterblich, Guiraud ist einer der wenigen, die noch erschwinglich sind jetzt. Goldgelb mit Noten von Salzkaramell, Tonkabohne, Apfel und gegrillter Ananas. Vollmundig, mit viel Honigsüße und einem würzigen Nachhall von Safran, Aprikose und Zimt. Grandiose Konzentration und Balance. Sehr intensiv und schier unendlich lang. Beeindruckend! 97-98+/100

Excellent concentration and balance. Loads of botrytis character on the finish. Intense. Hard not to drink now because it's so luscious and rich. Best after 2008. 11,665 cases made. 96/100
