Lobenberg: Feytit Clinet ist eigentlich in jedem Jahr ein Geheimtipp, da es nur so kleine Mengen und so wenige Distributionskanäle gibt. Total schwarze Frucht in der Nase. Dicht, aber nicht wuchtig oder fett. Schwarze Kirsche und Brombeere, Cassis. Er kommt als dichte Wolke mit sehr schön definierten Kanten, sehr präzise rüberkommend. Im Mund diese extreme Präzision wieder aufgreifend. Das gefällt mir richtig gut. Das ist noch klarer als in der Nase. Extremer Geradeauslauf. An was erinnert mich dieser Feytit Clinet? An schöne Jahre La Conseillante, aber so klar, so sauber auf der schwarzen Kirsche und der Brombeere laufend. La Violette und Le Gay in großen Jahren? Süß und trotzdem gar nicht marmeladig, sondern ganz klar bleibend und schick. Der macht Freude. Das ist ein wirklich schöner, geradliniger, sehr komplexer und raffinierter Pomerolwert. 97-98+/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: One of my favorite estates in Pomerol is Jeremy Chasseuil’s Château Feytit-Clinet, which covers a little over 6 hectares located between Trotanoy and Latour a Pomerol, in the Clinet sector of Pomerol. The brilliant 2016 Château Feytit-Clinet is a blend of 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc that saw malolactic in barrel and 16 months in 70% new French oak. There are just over 1,500 cases of this elixir that reminds me of the 2010 with its incredibly classic, flawless personality. Pure crème de cassis, damp earth, black truffle, and graphite as well as hints of violets all emerge from this full-bodied, powerful yet seamless and elegant Pomerol. It never puts a foot wrong and is pure class, yet still has some rock star Pomerol sexiness. Don’t miss it! 98/100

-- Parker: The 2016 Feytit Clinet is a blend of 93% Merlot and 7% Cabernet Franc aged for 16 months in 70% new and 30% one-year-old French oak barrels. It has a deep garnet-purple color with lifted blueberries and black cherries with hints of lilacs, black tea, potpourri, wood smoke and black soil. The palate is full-bodied, concentrated, rich and bold with firm, rounded tannins, seamless freshness and a very long finish with chocolate hints. About 1,583 cases produced. 95+/100

-- Galloni: The 2016 Feytit-Clinet comes across as very ripe and pushed, with less of the explosive energy of some past vintages. Or maybe the powerful tannins are simply buried by the sheer intensity of the fruit. Waves of fruit saturate the palate in a dramatic, distinctive Pomerol that shows the more virile side of the appellation. The 2016 is a terrific wine, but the question is whether it has one more gear left. I can't wait to see how it develops. Tasted three times. 93-96/100
