Lobenberg: In Mund und Nase fast Likör, unglaublicher, süßer, überwältigender Schmelz. Im Mund neben all der Wucht sogar ein wenig Frische, insgesamt aber ein Monster.

-- Suckling: Loads of honey, maple syrup, dried apricot and spice. Full-bodied, medium-sweet, with a refined, spicy character. Pretty wine. Masses of botrytis. This is refined and long, a racy wine compared with the power and muscle of so many others. Beauty among the beasts. Best after 2012. 2,300 cases made.

-- Jancis Robinson: Rich, sweet honeyed orange marmalade aromas. Exotically spiced, highly spiced. Very sweet, even on the finish though the spice adds zest so that it is not cloying. Exotic, infinitely rich, dense and viscous. Enormous but still with such pure fruit on the very long finish. Extraordinary to retain freshness within such an intense wine.
