Lobenberg: Komplett von roter Kirsche geprägte Nase, süß, Cocktailkirsche, dann frische Zwetschge und reife Mango, Nougat, Pralinen, dann kommen auch schwarze Kirschen, hochintensiv im Duft, die Tränen treten in die Augen, so duftig ist der Wein. Auch im Mund Burgund, Chambertin mit Barolo Monfortino und Chateau Rayas, aber zugleich profund und druckvoll im satten, weichen, samtig seidigem Tanninteppich. Rassige Vibration, ein toller Spannungsbogen, ein Touch Bonbon und Kirschlikör. Die zarte Frische betört, der Wein ist ungemein lecker und damit für jeden Genießer (anders als die leicht abgehobenen Finessewunder Le Pin, Le Gay und La Violette) sofort begeisternd. 95-96+/100

-- Parker: A brilliant effort from well-known oenologists Dany and Michel Rolland, the 2009 Bon Pasteur is dominated by Merlot, with a touch of Cabernet Franc included in the blend. It reveals textbook notes of mocha, tobacco leaf, blackberries, black cherries, roasted coffee and wood smoke. Full-bodied and luscious with a succulent, beautifully textured, multidimensional mouthfeel, low acidity and sweet but noticeable tannin, it is reminiscent of the 1982 Bon Pasteur, which continued to put on weight for a decade or more. If the 2009 does the same, it will come close to equaling that legendary vintage. Drink it over the next 20+ years. 94/100

-- NM: This has a ripe plum and macerated black cherry nose, that become quite floral and refined with aeration...but it needs patience to coalesce in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine, quite silky tannin, very good grip with a well defined, quite tannic finish that has excellent freshness and backbone. This is a superb Bon Pasteur from Michel and Dany Rolland. 93-95/100
