Lobenberg: 6 Barriques, ungefähr 60 Jahre alte Reben. Vielleicht die schönste Nase aller Weine von Oliver Bernstein und Richard Seguin. Extrem fein und Erinnerung an einen perfekten Chambolle 1er Cru hervorrufend. Gleiche hohe Intensität, soooo fruchtig pikant! Singend, dynamisch, vibrierend. Brillantes Spiel von Frucht, heller Schokolade, feinem dominikanischen Tabak, Zwetschge, Kirsche, Johannisbeere. Alles spielt, alles ist fein und hochintensiv. Die pure Finesse, ein Traum in der Nase. Im Mund das Gleiche zeigend wie in der Nase, was eine extrem positive Überraschung darstellt. Was für eine große Leistung! Ganz feine Säure, tolles Spiel. Auch hier die gleichen Fruchtsorten, Johannisbeere, Kirsche, Sauerkirsche, Zwetschge, feine Milchschokolade, helle Pralinen und Rauch. Große Länge. Dynamische brillante Säure. Extrem komplex und superfein. Ein Traumwein, ein großer Wein! 98-100/100

Moreover the texture of the medium-bodied flavors is ultra-fine yet there is plenty of power and authority, particularly on the mineral-inflected, austere, serious and amazingly persistent finish. The Mazis is excellent but there is quite simply another dimension of depth and length present here. (93-96)/2026+

-- Internet: -- IWC: Deep ruby-red. An exotic black fruit cocktail on the nose and palate, complicated by minerals, spices and flowers. Delivers an uncanny combination of density and weightlessness, with pungent minerality giving punch to the wine. Suave, fine-grained tannins saturate every square millimeter of the palate and dust the insides of the front teeth on the resounding finish. This may yet match the extraordinary 2010 version. (Bernstein's totally reduced and utterly unevolved 2011 Clos Vougeot was impossible to taste in November.) 93-96/100
