-- Parker: I tasted two vintages of the old-vine white that ages in barrel for six to eight months, including the 2020 Cepas Viejas. It was produced with the grapes from the individual white vines found in the old vines across the different plots and is approximately 80% Godello, 15% Treixadura and 5% Dona Branca. It's 13.5% alcohol but doesn't show any heat and comes through as fresh and balanced (it has a pH of 3.29). It's round, balanced, harmonious and powerful, with the classical Godello profile with the depth of the old vines. 2020 was a low-yielding year when they harvested in two passes, which increased precision. The wine has higher alcohol but feels very balanced. Only 1,800 bottles were filled in August 2021. 93/100
