Lobenberg: Knackig frisch an der Nase. Grapefruit- und Zitronennoten, Granny Smith Apfel und feine Kräuteraromen, Lorbeerblatt und einen Hauch Basilikum. Berauschender Trinkfluss im Mund. Kumquat, Passionsfrucht und Mango, dabei eine fast salzige, laserstrahlartige Mineralität. Schicker Wein! 93/100

-- Galloni zu 2021: The 2021 Conte della Vipera is undeniably savory and spicy from the first tilt of the glass, as notes of crushed rock, curry leaf and ground ginger give way to sour grapefruit. Its textures are nearly glycerol, yet not weighty in feel, balanced by pungent citrus and inner herbal tones that wouldn’t work elsewhere, but finds a beautiful symmetry here. Notes of fresh mint and sage come together with lime zest, as the 2021 finishes remarkably fresh. The Conte della Vipera is a classic Bordeaux Blanc-styled blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Sémillon that takes on some wonderfully unique characteristics here in Umbria. Frankly, it’s hard to put the glass down. 92/100
