Lobenberg: Ein massiv mineralisch wirkendes Nasenbild, das schon im Ansatz stark an Gesteinsmehl und Teer erinnert, dann aber komplex floral und von Lavendel bestimmt wird. Nun kommt wieder Teer und sehr viel Speck an die Oberfläche. Sehr fester Gripp am Gaumen, dieser leitet in den extrem langen Nachhall über. Pfeffer und Brombeere kommen in diesem kraftvollen Abgang noch als neue Komponenten hinzu. 100/100

Despite its size and concentration, it has flawless tannins, integrated acidity, and a purity of fruit that’s off the chart. It will require a decade of bottle age to hit the early stages of maturity and will be a 50-year wine if well stored. 98-100/100
