Syrah l’Ame Soeur
Not produced in 2021, the 2022 Vin De France Syrah L'Ame Soeur comes from the schist soils of the Seyssuel region just north of Ampuis. It shows a slightly more masculine, darker style in its red, blue, and black fruits as well as iron, violets, and incense-like nuances. Medium to full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, it offers a pure, layered mouthfeel, fine tannins, and a gorgeous finish. I love it today, yet it has a solid 10-12+ years of prime drinking ahead of it. This would pass undetected in a blind lineup of great Côte Rôtie. Drink 2025-2037.,,
