Lobenberg: Sehr klar gezeichnetes Aromenbild: viel eingekochte Orange und Quittengelee. Zupackendes Tannin und überdies Anklänge an Pfeffer. Immer länger und länger werdend. Der womöglich beste Basis-Condrieu. Ist ein extremer Langläufer, ist aber auch jetzt schon ein klassischer Condrieu mit viel Saft und Kraft. Bravo! 94-95+/100

-- Galloni: Limpid yellow. Highly perfumed, mineral-accented pear, white peach and Meyer lemon scents are accompanied by hints of violet, saffron and honey that build with air. Juicy and seamless in texture, offering intense orchard and pit fruit and honeysuckle flavors that are sharpened and lifted by a core of smoky minerality. Finishes sappy, minerally and extremely long, leaving a hint of peach nectar behind. Guigal's 'basic' Condrieu is consistently excellent but this one really stands out. 94/100

-- Jeb Dunnuck: Bottled in June, the 2018 Condrieu is a rich yet elegant Condrieu with classy notes of ripe white peach, tangerine, and grapefruit pith as well as medium-bodied richness. It has a touch of salinity on the palate and is beautifully balanced. Drink it over the coming 2-4 years. 92/100
