Lobenberg: Die Krönung unter den 1er Crus aus Gevrey-Chambertin war bei der Kellerverkostung des Jahrgangs 2016 der 1er Cru Cazetiers. Ein 1er Cru, den Armand Rousseau berühmt gemacht hat. Mandeln, Kirsche, Minze und Zimt. Ein extrem ätherischer, hoch feiner Pinot Noir! Das hat so viel Tiefe und Feinheit. Im Vergleich mit einem Grand Cru Chambertin kann man diesen Wein aber bereits 5 Jahre früher mit höchster Freude genießen. 95/100

-- Parker: --Parker: From bottle, Faiveley's 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru Les Cazetiers is showing very well indeed, unwinding in the glass with aromas of blackberries, cassis, dark chocolate, grilled game, bergamot and warm spices. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied, textural but full of energy, with a gourmand core of succulent, sapid fruit that cloaks its rich, satiny tannins, concluding with a long, subtly carnal finish. Surpassing my recollection of it from barrel, this is an unequivocally superb Cazetiers. 94/100

-- Galloni: The 2016 Gevrey-Chambertin Les Cazetiers 1er Cru is noticeably deeper in colour than its peers. It has quite a high-toned bouquet, more ostentatious than I expect with appealing scents of boysenberry, cassis and violet. I would like to see more Cazetiers character develop. The palate is medium-bodied with a gentle grip on the entry. Fresh and slightly chalky towards the finish that seems to belong to a different wine insofar that it feels austere and tannic. Is that an omen? It is a Gevrey-Chambertin that is indecisive about its future but my optimism is reflected in my score. 94/100
