Lobenberg: Altesinos Brunello ist das, was man einen archetypischen, klassischen Brunello nennen kann. Alle Bitterkeit und Herbheit der Rebe im Chianti, alle Bäuerlichkeit in Montepulciano kulminiert hier im Süden Montalcinos zu burgundischem Charme und Schmelz. Gevrey-Chambertin aus der Toskana und kein Erzeuger ist so verlässlich und beständig wie Altesino. Für drei Jahre im großen slawonischen Holzfass ausgebaut und anschließend weitere zwei Jahre in der Flasche gereift. Saftige Erdbeeren und rote Kirschen duften mit verlockenden ätherischen Kräutern, einem Hauch Vanille und Teer aus dem Glas. Totale Harmonie und Finesse. Auch im Mund ist dieser Brunello voll auf Eleganz fokussiert. Cranberry und saftige Herzkirschen gehen in eine phänomenal präzise Frische und fein polierte Tannine über. So elegant und so fein, alles ist einfach eine samtige Schönheit. Der nächste Schluck lässt nicht lange auf sich warten. 95/100

Am Gaumen sehr präsent und wiederum griffig, die reife Frucht wird von einem feinen Tanninkorsett umklammert, die feingliedrige Säure umspannt den athletischen Körper. Das hat Kraft und feinen Zug.
