Lobenberg: Bienvenue ist eines der unterschätztesten Terroirs der Grands Crus. Es ist ein bisschen wie mit dem Latricieres und dem Chambertin, Chambertin ist immer beeindruckender, aber Latricieres ist oft der heimliche Star. Das wissen nur nicht so viele Leute, daher ist er auch noch meistens günstiger. Bienvenue hat eine wahnsinnige Spannung, Zitronentarte mit Meringue, Brioche und Vanillin, konfierte Zitrusfrüchte, Orangenöl. Sehr straffer, elektrisierender Mund mit tiefer Salzspur. Dicht, muskulös, reich und doch so voller Spannung. Ein ungeheuer intensiver, druckvoller Wein, der sich am Gaumen mit elektrischer Energie entlädt. Enormer Oszillograph aus Power und Mineralität. Grand Cru-Format ohne Frage, sehr beeindruckend. 96-97/100

-- Tim Atkin: Delicately scented with pretty floral tones, sweet spices and yellow apple peels, the palate brings on toasted baguette and a light earthiness. The broad palate is harnessed by perky acidity. The long finish is firm and concentrated. Faiveley purchased these 50 ares in 2008, along with their Bâtard-Montrachet. 96/100

-- Decanter: Faiveley's half-hectare of Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet was acquired in 2008 as part of the acquisition of Domaine Monnot, which was engineered by Erwan Faiveley and then-CEO Bernard Hervet. Running the length of the vineyard downslope from the ex-Monnot parcel of Bâtard, it has delivered in 2022 a wine of great elegance, with a ripe pear and marzipan fruit and abundant floral notes. The texture is rich without being heavy, and the finish lingers invitingly on the palate. This wine will open nicely in three to five years and should drink well for decades. 94/100
