Lobenberg: In diesem Preisbereich eine Sensation. Gärung bei kontrollierter Temperatur für 10 bis 14 Tage. Danach folgt die malolaktische Gärung. Reifung für sechs Monate in traditionellen 50 hl und für weitere sechs Monate in französischer Eiche mit verschiedenen Toastungsgraden. Die Nase ist herrlich fruchtig. Erst Kirsche, dann folgen Brombeere und Waldfrüchte. Dahinter leichte Vanille und florale Elemente. Im Mund voll, saftig, geschmeidig. Hier passt einfach alles zusammen, alles greift ineinander. Auf Hochglanz polierte Tannine, cremige Säure, der Waldfruchtkorb und eine dezente Salznote, die den Abgang begleitet. So perfekt abgerundet, dass man gar nicht aufhören möchte. Nachschenken garantiert. Wenn das ungalante Wort Trinkigkeit je seine Berechtigung suchte, hier ist es am richtigen Platz. Ein extrem harmonischer Turbolader. 92-93/100

The organic Lamole di Lamole 2020 Chianti Classico Maggiolo opens to a very healthy looking garnet color and an almost edgy personality that prizes fruit integrity, freshness and soft tannins. This warm-vintage blend of 90% Sangiovese with smaller parts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot is more generous than normal, but the wine maintains its cool-climate Lamole precision throughout. It ages in a combination of large oak cask and barrique, and 90,000 bottles are made. The name 'Maggiolo' is a combination of the word Giaggiolo (the local word for 'iris') and Maggio ('May'), which is the month that sees that flower bloom. 90/100
