Few botrytized sweet wines, even at extreme intensity, manage to speak their aromatics with such clarity. Orange blossom, yellow apricot, and dried mango unfold in quiet succession, ripe yet never weighty. Gradually, notes of cinnamon, star anise, and saffron emerge, adding detail to the wine’s richness. The palate feels polished, almost glossy, with a luminous texture. Supported by the naturally high acidity of Barsac, the wine remains lively despite its sweetness and depth. Toward the finish, a fine thread of salinity appears, gently linking sweetness and savoriness, creating a subtle, wave-like motion that lingers on the palate.
