From 21-year-old vines, Felix Peter's 2021 Hubacker Dalsheim Riesling opens with deep, ripe, intense, concentrated and stewed fruit aromas intertwined with chalky, crystalline and flinty terroir aromas and some hints of lactic notes. Full-bodied, lush and very elegant on the palate, this is a rich but refined, persistently salty and tensioned Riesling with lemon notes on the intense and powerful finish. This is a structured, rich and powerful but also pure, saline and tensioned dry Riesling with stimulating salinity. Impressive and very promising. 12.4% alcohol. Tasted as a sample in August 2022. To be bottled in the next three days. 92-93/100
