Den Trousseau, der kendes fra Jura, kaldes her nedsættende for Bastardo, men den giver en sjov, blåfrugtet blodtone til Mencia, som klart dominerer med 90 %. Blomsteragtig og rødfrugtagtig i næsen, bestemt med charme. Meget aromatisk og rund i munden. Meget fine tanniner. En smagfuld Mencia og helt uaggressiv, lækker, rund og aromatisk chic.

The single-vineyard red 2019 Gorvia comes from the same vineyard as the white of the same name, a south-facing slate slope in the surroundings of the Monterrei Castle, mostly Mencía with some 5% Bastardo and Caíño Redondo. It fermented in an open stainless steel vat with destemmed grapes, was kept there for nine months, then put in used 500- and 700-liter casks and assembled in stainless steel until bottling. It has a transparent color and also an ethereal nose and palate, with only 12.5% alcohol, purity of flavors and strong personality. 2,505 numbered bottles.

The 2019 Gorvia Tinto is based on Mencía with 5% Bastardo and Caíño Redondo from Monterrei. The 2019 fermented in open vats and macerated post-fermentation for two months before fourteen months in foudres and barrels. It displays expressive raspberry, blood and red fruit aromas. The 2019 is dry, smooth and fresh, with moderate tannins, juicy flavors and a clean, vibrant finish.
