The 2021 Barbaresco Albesani is one of the most elegant Roagna wines I have tasted from this site. Sweet and beautifully perfumed in the glass, the Albesani captures all the radiance that is such a signature of this great site. Kirsch, sweet red cherry fruit, orange peel and mint soar from the glass. The 2021 is quite reticent today, but it will blossom with more time in bottle. This is a very tannic, old-school Barbaresco.
