Parker om:
Reserva Particular Brut Nature Corpinnat
I tasted another bottle of the 2017 Reserva Particular, but this time it was disgorged in March 2026 after 88 months, instead of the 80 months of the bottle I tasted last year. It is the 40th release of this wine, a blend of 53% Macabeo and 47% Xarel.lo, where the Xarel.lo comes from vines planted in the 1950s and 1960s. It fermented and matured in barrel, and for the first time this year, they used organic must to provoke the second fermentation in bottle, where the wine matured under a cork stopper until it was hand-disgorged without freezing the neck. It's as classical as it gets, keeping the ideas from their grandfather. It comes from slightly lower-altitude vineyards, so it has a little more volume and less verticality. It comes in at 11% alcohol, with a pH of 3.16 and 5.5 grams of acidity. 5,473 numbered bottles produced.
